Each guest is provided with a small individual box containing a butterfly. At a chosen moment during the gathering, guests may open their boxes together and release the butterflies into the gardens, creating a shared moment of reflection and remembrance. Some families choose to release them as a group following the ceremony, while others invite guests to find a quiet place in the gardens to release their butterfly privately.
